Dear Creativity,
I know it’s not duckling season. But I’ve been thinking a lot about hatching.

I’ve got a big announcement coming up this week, and I’ve slowly been making quiet changes behind the scenes — tidying the nest, rearranging things, getting ready for something new to emerge.
And as I go through this process, I keep thinking about how intentional this part is. We don’t always give that enough credit, do we?
The small decisions. The slow shifts. The space we clear to let something new take root.
Unlike ducks, we don’t have to wait for a specific season to start incubating. We get to decide when it’s time to partner with you and when we want to say yes to the next idea — even if we’re not 100% sure what’s on the other side.
I don’t know exactly what will unfold as I transition the Creativity Social Club into a space for ongoing incubation and play. But I do know this feels like the season to make it happen.
So, thank you, Creativity, for walking with me, even before anything hatches. Even while it’s still quiet.
This has me wondering:
What might happen if we stopped waiting for the perfect season… and started creating our own?
Innovatively yours,
Dr. Abigail
